Trump Lies & Tweets (Mexican Remittances) January 30, 2017

On Monday, January 30, 2017, White House Counsel Kellyanne Conway said the following:

"Here's the fact: The No. 1 source of income into Mexico are Mexicans working here and sending the money back."

That is a lie.

The value of Mexican exports to U.S. is 10 times bigger. Remittances do not rank No. 1 on the U.S.-Mexico income flow list. Rather, U.S. purchases of Mexican goods -- to say nothing of services -- are more than 10 times the size of remittances.

So, the Donald Trump “Regime” keeps lying… and, we keep counting.
